English Teaching Forum
New Issue: The most recent issue of the English Language Forum is now available on the American English website. This landmark issue (Volume 60, Number 1) issue features the anniversary logo on the cover and the first of four “reflections” articles looking back on the long history of the journal. A “multimodal” theme dominates the two full-length articles; one focuses on the use of multimodal materials, and the other provides an in-depth look at multimodal digital composition. Other articles offer new twists on using mingles and a step-by-step guide for helping beginner-level learners create narrative flipbooks. The My Classroom article highlights a teacher at a refugee camp in Lebanon and was written by our very own Sandra Story. Congratulations on the article, Sandra! Other countries represented in the issue are the United States, Switzerland, and Malaysia. Please spread the word about this new issue and about the ongoing 60th-anniversary activities.
