Presidential Proclamation (P.P.) 9645 suspends the issuance of Diversity Immigrant visas to nationals of Sudan

On January 31, the President signed a proclamation which includes Sudan in an expanded set of countries whose nationals are subject to entry restrictions under Presidential Proclamation (P.P.) 9645.  This new Proclamation suspends the issuance of Diversity Immigrant visas to nationals of Sudan, effective February 21.
