Situation in Sudan: information for U.S. Citizens in Sudan

We will inform U.S. citizens of any plans for additional U.S. government organized convoys from Khartoum to Port Sudan. However, there may be space available on commercial vessels traveling from Port Sudan to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  For those who are able to depart Port Sudan via ferry, U.S. consular officers stand ready to provide consular assistance to U.S. citizens upon arrival in Jeddah.

U.S. government officials are also receiving citizens in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Please contact U.S. Consulate General Jeddah with questions at (+966) 12 220 5000 or email Jeddahacs@state.gov. Review the Saudi Arabia Traveler Information page.

We remain dedicated to assisting U.S. citizens remaining in Sudan.  To inform U.S. citizens of options to leave Sudan as security conditions permit, we need to know your information.  If you are a U.S. citizen in Sudan, please fill out the following form: https://cacms.state.gov/s/crisis-intake  (There is no need to submit this information again if you have already submitted information concerning yourself or a U.S. citizen family member to U.S. Embassy Khartoum).
