What’s New in American English – Week of February 22, 202

The theme for February on our American English at State Facebook page continues with Online Etiquette/Netiquette. On the American English for Educators Facebook page the theme continues with Motivating students in the online English language classroom.

On our American English for Educators Facebook page the American English live Teacher Development Series 10 will have it’s next session on Wednesday, February 24th. The third session, “Tips and Activities for Creating a Communicative EFL Classroom Using Online Meeting Software” will take place at 8am and 1pm ET.  Promotional graphics are included with this week’s materials.

On the Access Teachers’ Corner Facebook group the topic for February is Project Based Learning. This week our expert will focus on Virtual PBL. We will consider how project-based learning differs in a virtual setting. All Access teachers and other educators are welcome!

Interacting online can be a great way to meet people from all over the world. Listen to this conversation and learn about some netiquette rules and synonyms for the words kind and security.
